0.0 km 302-0 STAGE BEGIN: From Qasr Al-Abd, head south-west crossing field of fig trees, walking by the R fence of Qasr Al-Abd. There is a foot path that goes all the way to the paved road.
170 m 302-0.17 Hit paved road, turn L and walk along.
310 m 302-0.31 At Y turn R, in few meters another R uphill all the way to the top of hill.
1 km 302-1 From top of hill, descend straight down.
1.1 km 302-1.1 About 80 m from the top of the hill turn L downhill (Rock walls on far L, and orange house by the road)
2.3 km 302-2.3 From Bedouin seasonal tent, zigzag down along 4X4.
2.5 km 302-2.5 At Semi paved T road, turn R downhill.
2.7 km 302-2.7 At T, with rock wall on L, turn R.
2.9 km 302-2.9 Turn L downhill.
5.1 km 302-5.1 Turn L following 4X4 between olive groves with 2 buildings in front.
5.3 km 302-5.3 Rough road.
5.6 km 302-5.6 Hit paved road and turn L slightly uphill (rally road).
5.7 km 302-5.7 Old Cemetery on R.
8.7 km 302-8.7 Continue along rally road all the way to the film set.
12.5 km 302-12.5 When film set is on L, continue straight along 4X4 towards the Dam.
14 km 302-14 At Y turn R with Dam in front.
14.7 km 302-14.7 Kufrain Dam on L, continue along 4×4 taking the R fork of Y junction.
15.9 km 302-15.9 STAGE END: Edge of Kufrain Dam and paved road.
Basic Info:

Head SW over the hills with good views across the Jordan Valley to Palestine then follow the track of King Hussein’s old ‘Rally Road’ as it winds spectacularly down the barren hills all the way to the the Jordan Valley and Kufrein dam passing the location of an old film set.

– Closest bus station is at the 8th circle, from there take a bus, private taxi (yellow), or shared taxi “service” (white) to Iraq Al-Amir.- No schedule for buses, they leave as soon as they are full.
– Iraq Al-Amir Women Cooperative Society.
– Wild camping.

– Iraq Al-Amir Women Cooperative Society (toilets, food, soft drinks, overnight).
